Simple Excitement

Today is an exciting day for many reasons. Firstly, it is my sister’s 15th birthday which makes me feel old and weird because I can’t believe my baby sister is getting older. Especially because there’s only a year until she learns to drive and I am not prepared for that. But on top of that, I am doing something incredible, wonderful, and humbling tomorrow. I don’t want to say yet what it is, but I can say that I know it’s going to something that impacts me greatly. As soon as the day is over, I will definitely  write a post about it. I can say this…

Why I’m Taking a Break from Social Media

Social media is great for a lot of things, it allows you to keep in touch with people and stay up to date with the world. From the most important news to keeping up with your favorite celebrities, there always seems to be a reason for checking facebook and twitter at least twelve times a day. Boredom can be easily cured by scrolling down your instagram feed or creeping on old high school classmates lives until the next thing you know an entire hour has gone by. In an already busy world, we fill the moments that are free mindlessly staring at our phones. That’s exactly why I have decided to take a break from social media.
