Why I Hate Our Hook Up Culture

In every romantic movie of any sort there comes a point where things get a little steamy. Whether the characters are meeting at a bar, grabbing a cab to one of their apartments, and subsequently going at it, or a nice date turns into a not quite believable sex scene, it all seems so exciting. There’s a rush of adrenaline and it is totally unplanned, which makes it even hotter in the moment. I know movies are just movies, and especially when it comes to love and sex they’re not the best at portraying “real life”, but there is something to them that I wish was real.
