The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
This novel is a classic American piece of literature that has seriously changed my life. I enjoy Gatsby’s character, with all of his faults and his fatal flaw of love for Daisy. The imagery used by Fitzgerald as well as the incredible themes used within the novel make this my all time favorite book.
The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
Everything written by Plath takes me to a place of complete vulnerability. This book was no exception. I relate to the struggles that Plath wrote about and the words resonated with me to my core. My favorite quote from that novel would have to be ““I took a deep breath and listened to the old brag of my heart. I am, I am, I am.”
